The Irvington Community School has adopted a dress-code for two reasons:
- To promote school spirit and a sense of community
- To keep students focused on academics and activities, instead of "clothing competition."
- Because styles change rapidly with young people, the management of the school has final discretion on the dress code, including decisions regarding clothing, jewelry, and hair.
Purchasing
Uniforms may be purchased at: Burlington, Dollar General, JC Penney, K-Mart, Kohls, Meijer, Sears, Target, Wal-Mart, Value City, or wherever school uniforms are sold.
Reminders
- All uniforms and shoes must be clean and neat at all times and of appropriate sizes.
- All shirts must be tucked in.
