VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Along with partnering with parents in stewarding their children's educational development, the ICS encourages parents to work with us as volunteers.

Curriculum & Assessment

IPA offers a rigorous academic program with a focus on individual results and achievement.

CLUBS & PROGRAMS

Our goal with the clubs is for children to engage one another with shared interests in subjects outside of the curriculum they experience throughout the school day.

DRESS CODE & OTHER POLICIES

To ensure a successful educational experience for our students, ICS has established these dress codes and policies.

Curriculum

Irvington Preparatory Academy is dedicated to providing students a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.  Each IPA student is required to complete a course of study that includes the core subjects of Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Foreign Language, along with courses in Art and Music, so that every student develops a well-rounded worldview and appreciation for culture.  Additionally, Irvington Prep offers a variety of electives that encourages students to explore their areas of interest. IPA also offers dual-credit courses through IUPUI, Marian University, and Ivy Tech Community College for qualifying students to begin earning credits toward a college degree.

Beginning with the class of 2013, all Irvington Preparatory Academy students are expected to earn an Indiana Academic Honors Diploma.  As such, all IPA students are expected to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses during their high school career, preparing them for the academic challenges they will face in college.
