Welcome to Irvington Preparatory Academy

Irvington Preparatory Academy is dedicated to providing students a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.  Each IPA student is required to complete a course of study that includes the core subjects of Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Foreign Language, along with courses in Art and Music, so that every student develops a well-rounded worldview and appreciation for culture.  Additionally, Irvington Prep offers a variety of electives that encourage students to explore their areas of interest. IPA also offers dual-credit courses through Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University-Bloomington for qualifying students to begin earning credits toward a college degree.

Irvington Preparatory Academy students are strongly encouraged to earn an Indiana Academic Honors Diploma.  As such, all IPA students are encouraged to take Advanced Placement (AP) and/or dual-credit courses during their high school career, preparing them for the academic challenges they will face in college.
