Trimester I Academic Awards Ceremony Celebrates Student Achievement

IPA concluded the first trimester of the 2011-2012 school year by hosting an academic awards night for students and their families. At this festive event 130 deserving students received at least one of 50 individualized awards ranging from High Honor Roll to Most Improved or Best Effort in a subject area.

Director of Operations Deanna Pryor served as master of ceremonies, while Chief Academic Officer Al Holok issued the official congratulatory handshakes and certificates.

Many parents and teachers were on hand to show their support and admiration. There were plenty of smiles and photo opportunities, as well. It is true that students value what adults are willing to support and celebrate.

Please plan on attending our next awards night celebration in March (date to be determined); it will occur at the end of the second trimester. Let’s fill the entire gymnasium to show our pride in our students' academic achievements!
