Mr. Yeoman Makes Good on His Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraising Promise
Below are some pictures documenting Mr. Yeoman's SLICK new haircut as a result of the ICS reaching the $3,000 fundraising threshold during the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's annual national fundraiser. This year, the ICS dedicated its "Pennies for Patients" effort to the memory of 6th grader Jesse Terry, one of Mr. Yeoman's students. Mr. Yeoman received his super major mega-buzz cut at the hands of Jesse's mother, Rebecca Roberts, during an all-school convocation that took place on Friday, February 20th. A very good time – at Mr. Yeoman's expense – was had by all.
As well, a surprise haircut occurred when Jesse's mom volunteered to have her head shaved by Mr. Yeoman (one good turn deserves another!). The results gave Mr. Roberts quite a start! But it was a perfect conclusion to a wonderful community event.
On deck sometime this April is a close cut for Ms. Skvara (date and time TBA). She promised to have her head shaved if the school managed to raise $4,000 for Pennies for Patients. And we did just that – and more!

2. Ms. Dwyer, a close friend of Mr. Yeoman, shows "concern" over what's about to occur.
3. Mrs. Roberts begins the traumatic experience for a certain teacher, doing a great job with the shears but a poor job hiding her delight at Mr. Yeoman's expense.
4. Our guest stylist admires her handiwork mid-cut. Take a little more off the top, Mrs. Roberts!
5. ICS students watch with glee as one of their teachers gets what's coming to him.
6. Mr. Yeoman appears to be resigned to his fate.
7. The deed is done. Nice look, Mr. Yeoman!
