Bicycle Safety Program Presented by Community Health Network June 28 at Community Hospital East
Community Health Network and Community Heights Neighborhood Association are hosting a “Bicycle Rodeo” on Saturday, June 28, 2008, from 10 a.m. - noon. This bicycle safety program will take place in the Community Hospital East employee parking lot on the southwest corner of the hospital campus (enter off 13th Street at Irvington Avenue). The Bicycle Rodeo is for children ages 9-12.
This is a great time for kids to learn or brush up on bicycle safety in the interest of having an enjoyable and healthy bike-riding experience this summer. There will be several stations to learn and practice various bicycle safety techniques. Each participant should bring his/her bike, helmet (if possible), and a parent or guardian. Adults will receive information on free or low-cost helmets, bike laws, and more.
This program is free and registration is not required!
