H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic Goes Smoothly
On Wednesday, December 16th, the ICS hosted an H1N1 flu vaccination clinic for both our grade school and high school students from Irvington Preparatory Academy (IPA). Several hundred ICS students received the vaccine, in both shot and flu mist forms, as did approximately 60 IPA students. The clinic was conducted by the Marion County Health Department and staffed by six nurses. Classes rotated through their turns in less than 10 minutes, thanks to the efficiency of the clinic and assisting ICS staff. And thanks in no small part to our courageous students, who took their shots and "snorts" like champs!
