Attention ICS Parents: Please Read This Important Child Immunization Announcement

Changes have been made in immunization requirements for the 2008-2009 school year that will affect all grade levels. Parents and guardians will need to check this critical information to ensure that their children are adequately immunized for the start of school. Please note: Children will not be allowed to attend school without the proper immunization records.

Among the changes, students are now required to have at least one chickenpox vaccine (or documentation of once having the actual disease), the series of three hepatitis B vaccines, and a second mumps vaccine. The ICS school nurse must have the updated documentation of these, and all required immunizations, by the first day of school. We appreciate your cooperation!
