Irvington Community Middle School (ICMS) offers Band (instrumental music) to students during the school day. During the start of the 2020-2021 school year, our longtime Band Director, Mr. Wingett, has creatively customized our students’ instrumental music experiences through virtual master classes and lessons as well as a focus on percussive, music-reading experiences. Band is a performance-based class in which students are expected to perform at a variety of events throughout the year. This class is designed to give students the opportunity to study appropriate instrumental techniques, as well as a number of different skills pertaining to instrumental performance.
