Breakfast/Lunch

Irvington Community Schools, in partnership with Aramark, will offer students several options for FREE meal services (effective February 1, 2021) depending on the student’s learning environment. Please see below for the 2020-2021 spring semester details:

VIRTUAL LEARNING MODEL STUDENTS (ICES, ICMS, IPA) | Home Delivery Option
Full-time virtual learning students from ICES, ICMS and IPA can sign up to have a school weeks’ worth of FREE meals (five breakfasts and five lunches) delivered to their homes weekly on Wednesdays. ICS does not have a meal pick-up option available for virtual learning model students at this time.

HYBRID LEARNING MODEL STUDENTS (ICES, ICMS, IPA) | Meal Take-Home Option
ICES, ICMS, IPA students enrolled in the Hybrid Instruction Model can elect to take FREE meals home to accommodate at-home e-learning days. (Also note that all meals served to students in school are FREE.)

Cohort #1 (Monday/Thursday Schedule)  will take Tuesday and Wednesday meals (breakfast/lunch) home on Monday, and on Thursday take their Friday meals home.
Cohort #2 (Tuesday/Friday Schedule) will take Wednesday and Thursday meals (breakfast/lunch) meals home on Tuesday, and on Friday take their Monday meals home.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 4, 2021, ALL MEALS WILL BE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE THROUGH JUNE 30, 2021 AS PART OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE’S (USDA) INITIATIVE TO HELP ENSURE CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS FOOD AS THE COUNTRY RECOVERS FROM THE COVID-10 PANDEMIC.
