Breakfast/Lunch

Irvington Community Schools, in partnership with Aramark, will offer students several options for FREE meal services (effective September 15, 2020) depending on the student’s learning environment. Please see below for the 2020-2021 fall semester details:

E-learning Instruction Students (ICES, ICMS, IPA) | Meal Pick-up and Home Delivery Options

Full-time eLearning students from ICES, ICMS and IPA can pick up FREE breakfast/lunch meals daily, 8 – 9 a.m., at Irvington Preparatory Academy gymnasium doors (east student/staff drive). Or, students can sign up to have a school week’s worth of FREE meals (five breakfast and five lunches) delivered to their home weekly on Wednesdays.

Hybrid Instruction Students (ICES) | Meal Take-Home Option

ICES students enrolled in the Hybrid Instruction model can elect to take FREE meals home to accommodate at-home e-learning days.

Cohort #1 will take Tuesday and Wednesday meals (breakfast/lunch) home on Monday, and on Thursday take their Friday meals home.
Cohort #2 will take Wednesday and Thursday meals (breakfast/lunch) meals home on Tuesday, and on Friday take their Monday meals home.
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 15, 2020, ALL MEALS WILL BE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2020 AS PART OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE’S (USDA) INITIATIVE TO HELP ENSURE CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS FOOD AS THE COUNTRY RECOVERS FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
